For millions of visitors around the globe, the Winter Festival of Lights has had an important spot in their hearts over the last 26 years. For many, the festival has now become a part of their annual holiday family traditions, and this year we invite you to make it part of yours.
Running from November 8th through January 5th 2009, you and your family can be a part of Canada's most famous illumination experience.This year, the festival includes over 120 displays which includes the world-famous "Enchantment of Disney" and the world's largest illuminated Canadian - American Flag, all of which have no admission charge!
While taking in the lights, there are many more family friendly, exciting things to do!
How about fireworks over the world famous Niagara Falls? They are shown every Friday throughout the festival with special displays to celebrate New Year's Eve. There will be live entertainment as well, like the sounds of Randy Travis, Debbie Reynolds and the stars of TV's Hee Haw. For those who feel a bit more energetic, be a part of the Candy Cane Lane, 5K Race & Fun Run. And cap it off with a tickle to your funny bone with laughs at the Niagara Falls Comedy Festival.
