Play'n the Blues Among the Vines
When you think about music in Niagara, you should be thinking about Blues.
In recent years Niagara has seen the growth in popularity of the soulful sounds of such great scenes as St.Louis and New Orleans. The sound in Niagara, however, is a distinct and somewhat richer slant. After all, when you drop those mellow melodies smack-dab in the middle of a world class winery (for instance), something great is destined to happen.
On Saturday August 9th, you're going to want to slide on in to the award-winning Hillebrand Winery as headliner Fat Head, alongside Suzie Vinnick, Raoul & The Big Time and Jeff Rogers take the stage for a star studded afternoon of Blues among the vines.
The gig happens from 4 to 8pm, but you'll want to be there at 2pm for the gate opening so you get the best seating.
Various access is available. You can bring a blanket or lawnchair for a romantic picnic atmosphere with that special someone, site in the Trius Red Lounge overlooking the vines or even get backstage for luxury treatment and some elbow time with the musicians.
