Greater Niagara Circle Route Drive

The Greater Niagara Circle Route integrates four signed scenic tours - the Welland Canals Parkway Interim Route Drive, Niagara River Parkway, Lake Erie North Shore Circle Route and the Waterfront Trust Trail - into one interconnected route. Niagara's Wine Route is also connected to the Circle Route.

Points of interest along the Circle Route are as diverse as they are abundant. The Waterfront Trust Trail connects Metro Toronto and the rest of the Lake Ontario shoreline to Niagara Falls. Featured along this route are wineries, orchards, fruit stands, the Niagara Escarpment, Niagara Parkway, theatres, historic communities and many festivals and events involving waterfront activities.

The Niagara River Parkway, said by Winston Churchill to be "the prettiest Sunday afternoon drive in the world", boasts an adjacent recreational trail complete with small picturesque bridges that span creeks and ravines along the way.

The Lake Erie North Shore Circle Route allows you to travel through the southern tip of the Niagara Peninsula. Enjoy the lovely lakeside communities of Wainfleet, Port Colborne and Fort Erie. Plan to join the festivities and a wide array of cultural and recreational activities.

Port Colborne's Roselawn Centre for the Living Arts is a restored mansion with a piano bar and several heritage dining rooms. The facility hosts art shows, concerts and other cultural events. It is also the summer home of Showboat Festival Theatre in-the-round, a professional theatre company offering an eclectic mix of comedy, drama and music.
